Skybus-Third Airline This Week To Shutdown
I was hoping Skybus would make it, but it is almost impossible for start-ups in the Airline industry to make it these days. They were convenient for me, because they flew out of GSO.
I was able to fly on Skybus once, before the shutdown. I went to Burbank, CA from Greensboro, NC last month for less than $200 round-trip. Overall I was impressed. Other than the leg room which was extremely tight I had no other complaints.
It has been a tough industry for the last 15 years. I am glad I stayed in corporate aviation, and I have no desire to jump to the airlines.
Skybus, ATA, and Aloha airlines may you rest in peace!!!
