Why Jump From A Perfectly Good Airplane?

I have always thought about maybe someday skydiving, but I have never made the time. I was recently reminded of this again when a friend posted pictures of their skydiving moment.

Then I remember this quote, "Why would you jump from a perfectly good airplane?"

I recently came across these steps for a successful skydiving trip (Tongue fully planted in cheek)

Maybe someday I will get around to checking this off of my list.

Saturday Evening Post

My wife and I were spending a couple of days away for our 6th wedding anniversary, and while driving along the Blue Ridge Parkway, we stopped at Mabry Mill. During our tour of the grounds we came across these millstones, and it reminded me of this verse:

Mark 9:42 "Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe to stumble, it would be better for him if, with a heavy millstone hung around his neck, he had been cast into the sea."

Makes you think!

Do You Have Trouble Getting Your Kids To Eat?

I know we do. Our son eats one good meal a day. We are never sure which meal that will be either. The list of things he will eat continues get smaller too.

Our daughter who just turned one will currently eat about anything, except baby food. We are wondering when she will start being like her brother.

This was an interesting article in the NY Times of two kids who will eat just about anything. How about scorpions for breakfast and snails for dinner?
